2020 is almost over. For almost all of us, this is a very good thing. What a year, huh (*slaps knee*). All that’s left is the holidays, which – in case you haven’t heard it enough from every company with ad dollars to spend in the past eight months – look a little different this year. You may not be able to hear your dad’s dad jokes in person or endure another lecture on the stock market from your great uncle, but that doesn’t mean you can’t keep the drinks coming as if you were sitting right in-between them. Because let’s be honest – the holidays do look different this year. But we’ve got exactly what you need to enjoy them. All you need is the Brown Bag Liquor app. And a steady internet connection. We can only assist with the former.
Step one: Download the Brown Bag Liquor app
Okay, actual step one: Take out your phone. Whether it’s iPhone, Android or Microsoft (is that still a thing) – the process is the same. Simply open your app store and search for Brown Bag Liquor. It’s the one with our logo on it. (Hint: It’s a green and brown icon with a wine bottle silhouette and our name!) Hit download.
Step two: Create an account
Okay, actual step two: You’ll be asked if you want the app to send you notifications. You’re going to want to say yes. Then, use your Apple/Google account, Facebook or email address to sign in to the app. There is no right answer here.
Step three: Browse to your heart’s content
Okay, actual step three: Before you can find your favorites, you’ll be prompted with a quick tutorial of the app. This is helpful for finding where our address (as if you don’t already have it memorized!), our top picks and more are located within the app’s interface.
Finally, it’s your time to shine. Search for your favorite beer and wines, and of course the hard liquor you know you’re going to need on-tap over the holidays. Step four: Head to Brown Bag for curbside pickup
Okay, actual step four: You have to place your order before you can go pick it up. When you do, you can select when you’d like to have it ready. Once you pay, you’ll get a text confirmation that your order has been received. You’ll get another text when it’s ready, with a friendly reminder that you must be over 21 with a valid ID to pick up your order. When you’re here, call or text 913.514.2272 to let us know. We’ll meet you at the curb, and you never have to leave the car. Boom! Easy, right? And next time, you’ll be able to jump straight to step three.
