You know what they say: April flowers bring May celebrations. But this year, these celebrations are going to look a bit different. Commencement ceremonies have been canceled, Memorial Day cookouts are on hold, and unless you’re lucky enough to be quarantining with your mother, you’ll have to settle for virtual Mother’s Day fun. These are trying times indeed, but there is at least one silver lining: Brown Bag is now offering the brand new Drinkworks Home Bar by Keurig for just $199 (normally $299 – what a steal!) through Mother’s Day, May 10. Pick one up via our new curbside services, or step inside where we’re strictly adhering to our social distancing measures.
But what is this brand-spanking new, groundbreaking piece of technology you ask? Allow us to explain.
In The Bag: Keurig, But Make it Booze
If you’re familiar with how the Keurig Coffee Maker and its accompanying K-Cups work, you can skip to the next paragraph now, because using the Drinkworks machine is just as easy. All you have to do is add ice and water to the machine, pick your Pod and you’re good to go. So while you may not be able to have the graduation celebration or Mother’s Day brunch you planned, you can still bring the party to you.
In The Bag: Drinkworks Pods
The best part about the Drinkworks machine is that Keurig has already supplied us with a ton of tasty, high-quality cocktail Pods for you to choose from. So while 2020 grads may not be able to slip whiskey shooters in their cap and gowns, they can recreate this magic moment at home with the Drinkworks Whiskey Cola or Whiskey Sour Pods.
